Director of Client Experience
Marissa began her tenure at JSF in 2010 as Jeff’s executive assistant – coordinating client meetings, planning events and helping the other financial planners in the office. As JSF continued to grow and gain more staff, her role expanded to also heading the Admin Department, overseeing the team of assistants and implementing processes to enhance efficiency. Marissa’s responsibilities have recently evolved into her current title, Director of Client Experience. In this capacity, Marissa is responsible for working with our Financial Planners, team members and clients themselves on enhancing their relationships with JSF through thoughtfully cultivated outreach, bespoke events, economic and lifestyle seminars and more. She also coordinates all internal staff events and activities.
A California native, Marissa grew up in the small town of Tulare and made her way to Los Angeles in 1999 to attend California State University, Northridge on a full academic scholarship. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, she spent the first part of her career in public relations before making her way to JSF.
Outside the office, Marissa enjoys reading, cooking and baking, cheering on the Lakers, traveling, catching up on her favorite tv shows and spending time with her husband, toddler and rescue puppy.
